Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Car Claims Administrator to join our team. You will be managing the processing and administering of claims for car rental excess insurance policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing claims, liaising with clients and rental car companies, and ensuring that all claims are processed accurately and efficiently.

 

Job Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks:

  • Review and assess car rental excess insurance claims to determine eligibility for coverage.
  • Liaise with clients and rental car companies to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Verify policy coverage and determine appropriate payment amounts.
  • Process claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide customer service support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claims processed.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding claim status and resolution.
  • Identify and escalate complex or high-value claims to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

 

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in insurance claims processing or related field is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with insurance policy language and legal terminology.
  • Knowledge of the car rental industry and/or associated insurance policies is advantageous.

 

Work Requirements

  • The position will be based in Greenside, Johannesburg with a hybrid working from the office/home routine.
